SRT USA at X Games 16

In front of an excited audience that filled the L.A. Coliseum on Saturday to see fireworks in the form of Rally Car Racing and SuperRally, Subaru Rally Team USA (SRT USA) arrived with its two team drivers Travis Pastrana and Dave Mirra and guest driver Sverre Isachsen along with Subaru STI rally cars prepared by technical partner Vermont SportsCar. After some intense qualifying battles, the SRT USA seeding results were as follows for Rally Car Racing: Pastrana 2nd and Mirra 12th.

In the Elimination Heats for Rally Car Racing, #40 SRT USA driver Dave Mirra defeated 5th seed Chris Duplessis but lost to Seed 1 Tanner Foust while #199 SRT USA driver Travis Pastrana fell to 11th seed Brian Deegan in the Quarterfinals. The inaugural SuperRally event proved a challenge for everyone as Sverre Isachsen finished 4th in the first Heat, Dave also finished 4th in Heat 2, while Travis found himself unable to begin his Heat due to a mechanical issue stemming from the earlier Rally Car Racing event.
